I am a high school student but I'm already preparing myself for the future. Is English Major great for me? These are few of my backgrounds; I'm the Literary editor of our school paper, I've been 1st runner up in the Impromptu Speech, I am the Scrabble Champion in our school's indoor contests and my nickname in my class is "Dictionary Girl". I don't know if English Major is in demand and has a high salary but I you have a suggestion on what job is perfect for me, feel free.

Ok so i wanted some pan de sal (Filipino bread), and you know how they stick together? well, I picked a up 2 that were connected and one had mold growing on the corner of it. obviously i threw it out, and since the other one had no mold (I carefully checked including inside it) so i ate it. there was another last pair of 2 so i checked those 2 and again one had mold growing. I threw it out, checked the other one, no mold, i ate that one too. but after reading the stuff about how mold spreads im worried if the pan de sal i ate had mold spores. Will i be ok?

What is the basic pet care my rabbits need?

Well, for starters, you should NEVER bathe them. They bathe themselves like cats. And you have to understand that they were taken from their mothers a little early so the might not eat or drink, in which case you need to encourage them to, but not force them to. They should be played with for at least 30 min. a day. Grass is not recommended for them to eat, but it wont harm them. Is there a local pet store or feed and seed or tractor supply co around? You can usually get food there. Just make sure that it is basic rabbit pellets. I wouldn't recommend buying unnecessary treats. Carrots and cabbage or lettuce every now and then is an excellent treat. Sometimes, rabbits do bite, but unless they break skin (which is rarely) they were just playing around. As for the cage covering, they need somewhere to use the restroom so you shouldn't put anything covering the whole cage. Try a box (not made out of cardboard) in one corner just so they can get off the wire. Make sure it is secured to the cage somehow so they can't toss it around everywhere. Rabbits usually eat at night so I would just feed them when their food bowl is running low. When they grow older, you might want to separate them, if not already. Two females or two males will fight. What's a good stress relief game?

Strange fungus in lawn?

How do I improve the sound quality in Express Scribe?

There is a lot of noise/hissing/rustling on the recorded file I am transcribing. It's very hard to understand what people are saying underneath all that. I have played around with the Bass settings in Express scribe, but it doesn't seem to help. Please Help! What's wrong with me?

Can the mould from a swimsuit kill a baby?

I went swimming about a month and a half ago, and afterwards I got distracted and left my swimsuit and towel bag in a locker (with a little ventilation, but not much). I went back today and found that the swimsuit had some mould on, and as it didn't fit me anymore anyway, I threw it away immediately. How do I get better at scrabble?

I like to make my own double-letter squares. Look for places you can play one word next to another, not crossing it. For example, picture the word "INTO" running left to right. If you play the word "NOON" crossing it you only score 4 points, but.... if you play the word "NOON" right under it you get to score "IN", "NO", "TO", "ON" and "NOON" you get 12, tripling your score. Granted that's a lousy example, but it's the principle.

You and your family are enjoying a game of Scrabble during family game night and then a random old man wearing a sparkling purple thong walks in and asks to borrow some salsa. If so, what did you (and your family) do?

Graphics Card Problems?

Just recently I bought a used Radeon HD 6870 video card from Fry's and a new power supply. I had troubles installing both the power supply and the card into my computer so I sent it in to a local computer repair store. I got it back the next day. Their report said when they were installing the drivers the system randomly froze but they got it to work. Afterwards they tested Portal 2, Spore, and Left 4 Dead 2. They worked. However, before I got this new card I had an Intel Media Processor for my "video card". The Intel card would play Portal, Left 4 Dead, and Spore, but it would not run Mass Effect 1 or 2, Magicka, or Splinter Cell Conviction. The new card that I have runs Portal, L4D, and Spore perfectly. But when I try to play the other games listed above I have problems. The system will freeze randomly in the title screen of each game. I restart my system and retry it a few times. After a few more tries the game doesn't freeze, and the game runs like a dream. However, the next time I try to run it, it freezes again, and I have to restart my system a couple of times to get the game running again. What might be the problem?

Self indulgence. People who come up with names like Blanket, Bronx Mowgli, Kal-el, and Moxie CrimeFighter and a host of other noun names are focusing on themselves, and not their child, they want the reflected notoriety of giving their child these weird names without a thought of weather the child will be comfortable with them throughout his/her life. What might be cute or unique when you're two can be a running school yard battle or an extensive therapy bill when you're older.

We bought a micro suede couch, the ends are recliners. Well one recliner reclines all the way back but the other only goes half way back. We have a writing center (basically homework club) that used to a ghost town at my school. Then teachers started saying that if a student turned in a paper or homework and got a low grade on it then they could go to the writing center, get checked off that they met with a tutor and went over the work then they could re turn in the paper or homework and get a higher grade. (before hand the teacher would tell the student that you can get this high of a grade..) That's how our writing center became popular. Kids are eager to go get help if it will actually help their grade.

Red spot on zebra danio help plz!?

I just noticed that one of my 3 danios has a huge red spot on the side of his head. It takes up almost the entire side of his head, and almost looks like blood underneath. Diarrhea for 3 days now 31 weeks pregnant?

I've had diarrhea for 3 days now. I have no other symptoms. I'm 31 weeks pregnant and on modified bed rest for preterm labor. I have had contractions on and off but nothing too serious. I do not feel sick to my stomach and I am not running a fever. I am not lactose intolerant and do not change my cats litter box. I am 25% effaced but not dilated. The baby has been moving perfectly fine. I went to my ob office yesterday and I am in perfect health according to the midwife. I have increase mucous like discharge but my water has not broken. The baby is engaged. Am I getting ready to go into labor? Also, I was bottling my leaking colostrum since I think it'd be stupid to let it go to waste and giving to my toddler who is 21 months old (I have been just sitting with a bottle underneath my nipples to catch it I have not expressed it) but now it turned from yellow to clearish white so my actually breast milk is coming in. Is this labor? I was induced with my first so I don't know what the signs of labor are. OB office doesn't seem too concerned.

The same thing happened to me about 10 years ago. Unfortuately, you will have some minor scars from it. The area under my eyes and across my ch!!eeks look like burnt turkey skin and it has left my skin looking very aged. I know how the blank tile is used DURING a game of Scrabble, but what if you draw one when determining who goes first at the beginning of the game? Is it better than getting an 'A'? Or do you draw again? Or if you're stuck with one on your tray at the end of the game, are you penalized any points? I don't see any rules about these two things anywhere in the rules, and am finding different players do it differently. Wondering if there are official rules about these. My kittens have had ringworm for a while and I've been treating them.?

Well, all the spots have cleared up and the vet says "I think they're good, you have a maybe 1% chance that they still have it." He won't do a culture or use a black light to check. So after spending almost 300 dollars to date on vet visits and meds to treat these kittens, I went out and bought a black light to check for sure. I'm tired of keeping them kennelled. I'm ready to let them run free through the house. This has been a headache for me and the kittens I'm sure. So I held them both under the black light and at first saw nothing, but when I moved them closer there were a few tiny green spots that looked like dust but with a faint green tint. I'm trying to find out if this was ringworm spores or just dust glowing under a black light. ??? It just looked like dust, but faintly glowed under the light. Anybody know anything about this? What is this strange mushroom-like ocean critter?

i am at st. simons island, georgia right now, and today i swam out to this sandbar about 100 yards off the beach. there were these strange organisms in the shallow water sticking out of the sand. they resembled a mushroom. they were purple and had about a two inch long "stem". when i picked it up and put it on the sand it sorta looked like it was breathing. they had these bumpy spore kind of things on the top. a little kid walking by told us it was a sea cucumber, but unless it was a very strange kind, i don't think it was. sea cucumbers are actually in the shape of a cucumber and this looked like a mushroom. what is this strange thing?!?!

It's not a huge little bit of fat, I can feel the muscle underneath it, but I can't go to the gym or anything like that because I'm a lot younger than this website thinks I am. I can't control my own diet yet because I still live with my mom :3 I'm just a kid... but the only sport I do was soccer but even that is gone now because it's summer. I used to do swimming, soccer, karate, and baseball but all those I stopped because Middle School started last year and I had a lot to keep up with. I play Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Viola, Guitar, and Piano. The only instruments I don't have private lessons for are Guitar and Tenor Saxophone so I'm still pretty busy, so doing anything that takes more than 60 minutes a day is out of the question, but now that it's summer, I have a lot of time on my hands but I intend to stick to the exercise routine throughout the next school year so it can't be too long. so please help! I need to lose fat! I'm not saying I need to lose weight because I only weigh 80 lbs.

Me and my brother bought Spore and the expansion pack, we downloaded it from the website and we had to put it on an expansion drive because our computer had a virus and we were going to wipe it. The expansion drive isn't working now and we can't reinstall it because we have no disk. Would it be illegal to download it again for free? Or would it still be illegal?

Running feet injuries?

i'm about to be a senior and am now preparing for my last cross country season. i recently increased my mileage and now have blisters on some toes and the skin underneath one of my toenails is black and blue and hurts to the touch. could someone tell me how to care for these without stopping my running routine and prevent them from happening when i increase my mileage again. thank you

Questions about diamond ring..?

I know a diamond does not need to breathe.. it's actually for light for a better shine and to see where the setting is.. anyways. Some people say if there is no breathing hole underneath then the diamonds are fake.. i was wondering if this is true? The black diamonds do have breathing holes underneath and on the sides.. the white diamonds only have holes where the prong setting is. I don't know much about diamonds.. just that to me this ring was very expensive. I'm a simple girl.. just don't want my hubby to be to pay for something.. hmm how to put this, not worth it? Should I buy Spore? (SecuRom Problems)?

I was thinking about buying Spore but read a lot of negative reviews about Spore. Like the drm and SecuRom problems. I am not really concerned about the drm but want to know what the SecuRom actually does. Did Maxis/Ea get rid of either the drm or SecuRom on the latest versions of Spore? Is there any way to delete the SecuRom? Is it safe to keep SecuRom on my system? Thanks and ten pints for best answer. ;)

Is this a magic mushroom?

Hi i was in my garden after a couple days of raining and spotted this small brown mushroom under a tree. It ressembled psyicobe cubensis as it had a white stem, brown roundish cap and had white fluffy stuff at the bottom. I was going to do a spore peint but i left them out to long and now they are dry and stuff. The stem is not hollow ans full off different shreds. The cap is a brown/ light briwn color completely varying conscerning sizes. The little blades are kind of spaced out but still pretty close. Perhaps a 0.5mm space between each and they are a light brown. Any thoughs?

Dots underneath eyes?

They're little white dots underneath my eye, my mom has them too and she said the dermatologist diagnosed it as " " some medical term. He said there is no cure but I was wondering if someone knows what I have and how to get rid of it. Once again they're tiny white fatty like dots. They're not white heads their just chillen there. Okay this may sound completely nerdy but I want to expand my vocabulary lol! So I played a game of words with friends and after I won the game I went back to look at the board and there were about 15 words that I didn't quite know and I have been looking them up(successfully) until I got to this word. "IRED" now i'm not sure if this is an abbreviation or if scrabble even accepts abbreviations but idk i just have no clue what this word is, help?! I need to know: the definition of IRED and if scrabble accepts acronyms and/or abbreviations?

What happens when you get two triple word scores in scrabble?

What would happen if someone played a word in scrabble that covered two different triple word score spaces? Would it count for just 3x points, or would the multipliers be added to 6x points, or would it be tripled and tripled again for 9x multiplier?

Why does my guinea pig do this?

Guinea Pigs are rodents and they naturally try to hide in small dark places. He probably will not out grow it. The only thing i can say is to stop letting him do it if you don't like it.
